Survey Tools

The survey templates are available here for Higher Education Institutions wishing to carry out a survey at internal level as a first step to improve the implementation and recognition of staff mobility:

  • Survey questionnaire
    Target: Higher education institution staff members (taeching, administrative and technical staff members) It is addressed both to those who have participated in an Erasmus visit and those who have not done so.
    Purpose: This questionnaire is designed to test experiences of the Erasmus programme for staff mobility i.e. visits by university staff to higher education institutions and other organisations abroad funded through the Erasmus Long Life Learning and/or Erasmus+ Key Action 1 programme - Learning Mobility of Individuals. This includes both visits under KA103 (Erasmus programme countries) and KA107: International Credit Mobility (Erasmus partner countries).
    It is not asking about any other visits that may have been funded through an Erasmus multilateral project or any other sources.

  • Mapping tool
    Target: International Relations offices in European higher education institutions in charge of the management of Erasmus staff mobility
    Purpose: This questionnaire is design to put together quantitative and qualitative data related to Erasmus+ staff mobility. It intends to collect information on the programme management (centralised, decentralised), main figures
    related to staff mobility (LLP-Erasmus programme, and the first years of Erasmus+), practices related to communication/promotion of the programme; co-funding of activities; preparation, follow-up and exploitation of mobility; recognition in professional and career development, link with internationalisation strategy, data collection and quality monitoring of mobility activities

  • Interviews
    Target: Higher education institutions top management university top management (president/rector, vice-p/r, head of faculty/office, e.g. human
    resources, staff training, career centre management, International Relations Office). It should be addressed both to persons familiar and not familiar with mobility activities for staff.
    Purpose: Get feedback on the motors and obstacles to mobility and tackle the challenges at the department or institutional level in terms of staff mobility.
